Corn Maze 2009

Chris has been on Fall break and he has also been off work at the grocery store, so we went to the Corn Maze Sunday evening! Last year just the kids and I went with some friends because Chris was working. I was glad he could go with us this time. Hopefully we can make this a fun family tradition! The maze was in the shape of a castle!

The kids and I stopped to check the map. It might seem like cheating, but it is not as easy as it seems to just look at the map! However, there were numbered posts throughout the maze, and when we found them there were questions/hints, and if we answered correctly it would let us know which way to turn next.

Eleanor started getting a little spooked, or maybe she takes after her Grammy and felt slightly claustrophobic? Anyway, protective big brother Sean put his arm around her and told her it was OK, and that daddy would find the way out. He was right! Not too much longer after that we found the exit!

We told the rugrats to make silly faces for the camera!

There was a hay bale maze for the little ones!

Ooops! Not sure what happened here???
