Here is Eleanor waiting her turn to see Santa!
He handed out DumDums instead of candy canes. This went over much better with my children, as they are not fans of peppermint.
I wish I would've gotten a bigger picture of the whole train track. It went around a fountain that was all decorated cute and pretty. Oh well, my mom may have gotten some better train ride pics.
After the train ride we went to the food court for some Sbarro's. Next to the food court is a large fish tank. I love all the turtles!
Yeah! I love your pics. Makes me wish I could be back in Salina to experience those wonderful sights and sounds! I always loved the way Salina got all decorated up for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHow do I know Joy? Well... I think Arlen Redden brought her to Bible study and I "formally" met her there. But we really didn't get to be friends until we were both in the Salina Community Theatre's "A Christmas Carol" waaaaaay back in 2002. She was the only person there I knew and vice versa, so we sat together during auditions.
Then we became really, really good friends fairly quickly! She's an amazing person. I'm only sad that I haven't seen her in years (kinda like you!). *sniff*
I hope you and yours have a very, very Merry Christmas!!!
Liv- No I didn't get good train pics. In fact, they were horrible! Yours turned out so well! It seems like you do so gracefully and seemingly effortlessly, what I fumble through! I'm so glad you got a good train one!
ReplyDeleteDarling Eleanor!
Funny Fish Face Sean!
That's a good-lookin Santa. Looks like you had a great time!
