Summer Toad

The kids and I went to mom's Thursday evening and we got home way too late. The reason was that we drove around for a while to look at the fireworks all over town! Thankfully I bathed them there and they were ready to go straight to bed when we got home. Anyway, when we got out of the car I noticed that there was a toad on the sidewalk close to our door. We looked at him for a while and we watched his long, sticky tongue snatch up a nasty June bug!
