Homeschool Week in Review

Chloe and Lily learned about the letter Cc and cows.  They made a cow face out of paper plates :)  Sean and Eleanor helped them paint.
The kids got to write their spelling words in flour
This was the poem we worked on this week and the kids drew pictures to go along with the poem.
This week was about pilgrims from England finally reaching Holland!  We made waves by blowing on the water and also watched the ripples by using a dropper with red dye in it.  The kids made little barns and windmills.  The barns went along with our memory verse, Matthew 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there you heart will be also."  The windmills were to look like Dutch windmills that Holland is known for.
We read Stone Fox and did a book report on it.  They drew pictures of their favorite parts of the book and also a picture to show how they can be responsible.  The little boy in the book was very responsible.  They both drew pictures of them helping with dishes and laundry.
That is it in a very small nutshell.  We did a lot more and I could write a lot more about it, but I'm gonna call it good for now.
