First Days of School

Sean had his first day of 2nd grade yesterday!  He is in a new classroom with new classmates and a new teacher.  At this school the kids keep the same teacher/classroom/classmates for two years and then it changes and they have all new for another two years.  I really like that setup a lot!  Sean seemed to have a great first day and he really likes his new teacher.  He was so excited to see his friends again after a long Summer break :)

Eleanor's first day of Kindergarten was today!  I was surprised by her!  She was excited to go to school.  She ran and skipped ahead so eager to get inside.  My little girl is growing up.  She isn't so little and timid anymore.  Makes me happy, proud, and a little bit sad too.  But I am glad that she was so ready and did so well her first day!  Eleanor gets the same teacher that Sean had for two years, so that was really neat.
