1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Being lazy today
I don't feel like doing anything today, so I am posting more pictures of my favorite subject. I took these yesterday. Chloe is sporting her new top by Grammy. Oh yeah, work it girl!

Fat Lip
My poor little boy fell and cut his lip on the coffee table that you can see in this picture. As much as it bled I thought that he lost a tooth at first! Thankfully it was just his top lip. After we put a cold, wet paper towel on it for several minutes, Sean seemed to think that it was a little better and allowed me to take a picture. He really liked having the cool, damp towel on his lip. I am sure that it did really help.
Yesterday fun in the snow
When the sun finally came out yesterday and started melting a little bit of the snow, we took the kids out to play. Sean was digging in the snow with an old frying pan.

There was a huge mound of snow where someone had shoveled and the kids had fun playing on it and sliding down it.

This morning when I went in to get Eleanor out of bed, she had her babies and animals all tucked into bed. Sean gave her new phone to her. She was singing a lullaby to her babies and told me they were going night-night.

Milestone alert
Chloe rolled over from her tummy yesterday after her bath! She is 14 weeks today! Sean rolled over for the the first time when he was 14 weeks and Eleanor rolled over when she was 4 months. Just some fun facts.
Here she is enjoying her bath before she rolled over

After Chloe used up so much energy rolling over she was ready to rest in her swing. Tomorrow I will post a video of Chloe jibber-jabbing.

Thumbs and Flowers
The first three pictures that I have posted are of Eleanor sucking her thumb when she was about the same age as Chloe. Eleanor always had to have something in her mouth, and for a while it was her thumb. We tried a few different pacifiers before we finally found one that she would actually take and then she didn't give it up until right around the time that Chloe was born! I have noticed when I look back at pictures that Eleanor very often had a paci, or a finger, or a toy in her mouth and very rarely had a smile. That has since changed and she is a great "cheeser" when the camera is out.

Today Chloe was laying on the couch and I could hear her sucking quite loudly. I assumed that she had her paci, but I soon realized that she too was sucking on her thumb! I believe she also does this at night when I lay her down after a feeding because I hear the same sucking noises. She also seems to have that need to suck like Eleanor did, but she is not as fond of the pacifier as Ellie was. I can't decide if that is a good or a bad thing. On one hand I am glad that she can use her thumb to "self-sooth", but on the other, I don't want her to get so attached to her thumb that she is still sucking it in grade school! Whatever happens I still think she is a little cutie with her thumb in her mouth.

I took this picture of Chloe sleeping in the swing yesterday. I probably should have used the video feature on the camera so you'd know just how serene and peaceful she looked with all the noise and chaos going on around her.

Not Quite 2-Year-Old Cuteness
I have been very sneezy the last couple of days and I am hoping that I am not coming down with something. I think that it is probably allergies of some sort with the changing of seasons. Anyway, I put Eleanor on the potty the other day and just as I sat her down I let out quite a sneeze! My sweet Ellie who will be a big two year old on Saturday the 28th said, "Bless you Mommy!". It was the most surprising and the cutest, sweetest part of my day. I can't believe that my big baby girl is going to be 2 already!

Oh no! I made a dot!
Sean was trying so very hard the other day to tie his shoes so we could go outside to play. I was busy at the moment with one of the girls, so I was unable to help him. I told him to untie his shoes and then put his feet in and I would help him with the rest. Well, he wanted to tie them himself, so he tried...bless his heart! After a few seconds, he looks at me with a very concerned expression and says, "Oh no! I made a dot!". Meaning of course that he had put a knot in the laces.
Can is be? She's turned 3!
