Halloween Party!

Yesterday we went to a Halloween party with some friends from a group that I'm in on CafeMom. It was a lot of fun! The kids got to paint pumpkins!

Here is Eleanor painting not only her pumpkin, but also her hand. At one point she also painted her mouth just a little bit!

Here is Sean happily painting his pumpkin!

After the pumpkin painting us moms helped our kiddos do Candy Corn handprints. Here is a friend helping her baby girl do a handprint. Not so sure Sweet Baby Girl appreciated that too much!

Here is Sean's finished product

At the party the kids also got to decorate their own cupcakes and eat them and they had a lot of fun playing together. I didn't get any other pictures of the party.

Some of the kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes for the party, but again, I didn't get pictures of them. When we got home Sean and Eleanor wanted to put their costumes back on, so I helped them get dressed and took some pictures.

My baby belly

OK, so I think that I am way bigger than I have ever been at this point in my pregnancies. In fact, I think that I am about the size that I was when I gave birth the first two times.

Here I am at about 38 weeks with Eleanor. I was induced at 39 weeks with her as well. March 2007

Here I am now with Chloe Avanelle at 30 weeks. I think that I am as big here as I am in the other photos! What do you think??? I can't believe I only have 9 more weeks!

So, do you think that I will deliver early, on time, or late? How much do you think the baby will weigh? How long do you think she will be? How long do you think my labor will last? How long do you think I will have to push? Anyone want to leave some guesses?

Sean was 1 week early, he was 6 # 7 oz and 20 in., my labor was 10 hours, and I pushed for about 20 minutes.

Eleanor was 1 week early, she was 6 # 5 oz. and 19 in., my labor was 5 hours, and I pushed for about 5-10 minutes.

I'd love to hear guesses and ideas!

One quick pic then it's off to bed

Eleanor in her daddy's boots. She was so proud that she put them on all by herself. It was no small task for such a little girl with such big shoes!

30 weeks pregnant with Chloe Avanelle

I had my sister take these pictures of my belly the other day. I think I will have her take some bare belly pics as well, we just didn't have time when we did these. I was 30 weeks and 2 days. Which means that today there are only 67 days (9 weeks and 4 days) until Christmas and my due date!

Eleanor's new Dora boots!

Grammy got Eleanor some Dora boots at a thrift store. In case you can't tell from previous posts my family loves to go thrift store shopping! It is so fun to find all kinds of bargains and treasures! Also cheaper and I'm all for that!

Eleanor loves her new boots!

My Mother!

Today is my mom's birthday!
I love her dearly and honestly consider her my best friend.
It is a true compliment to me when someone says that I look or act like my mother.
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful mother and Grammy for my kids.

Yesterday the kids and I went and spent the day with mom. We brought her a red rose.
We also made some yummy cupcakes and put star sprinkles on them.
I helped Sean and Eleanor make a Happy Birthday card for their Grammy, but I forgot to take a picture of it, so I will have to try to do that the next time we are at her house. I thought it turned out pretty cute!

Pics from the last week or so

Here is a cute and classic Christmas dress that I got for Chloe in hopes that she will be born before Christmas and be able to wear it! If she doesn't get to it is not too big a deal because I got it pretty cheap at Goodwill! I really hope she will get to wear it though, it is just so pretty! I think it would be great if I could find one very similar for Eleanor to wear as well!
Marcail wearing Sean's rain boots and playing with his firetruck station

Sean got stuck underneath a table at Grammy's house that he was not even supposed to be under anyway. I know I am cruel, but it was just so funny and he wasn't really hurt, he just didn't know how to get out! I don't think he'll be doing that again!

Eleanor coloring very seriously!

The kid's "new" rooms!

On Thursday I decided to move Sean into Eleanor's room and get Chloe's room set up and ready for her arrival. I was 30 weeks on Thursday which means that there are now less than 10 weeks till Christmas and my due date! Wow! Sean and Eleanor love sharing a room together and they did great taking their naps and going to bed at the same time! Now that Chloe's room is ready I guess I should start thinking about making sure that I have a bag ready for the hospital.
Eventually Chloe will have a real crib, but Eleanor is still in it for now. I will move the bassinette into my room when she arrives so it will be easier to feed her in the middle of the night.
Chloe's dresser and changing table
Sean and Eleanor now have a Dora and Diego room together. I found this big Dora doll for Eleanor at Goodwill for $2.50! It is in great shape!

Hanging out with family this October

About 2 weeks ago we (mom, dad, Christine, Tab and kids, and me and kids) were all hanging out together. We ate at the Mexican restaurant in town and then walked down Main St. for a while. We stopped at the Swedish store that has the big Dala horse out in front and took some pictures. There is also a big porch swing there and we took pictures on that too!

Me and the kids

This was taken at the Mexican restaurant. Henry was holding his knife and fork very properly and cutting up his chips! I thought it was pretty funny that he knew how to do that! He is so observant and wants to be so "big"!
